Supreme College Netherlands offers a VWO+ level education—but with a difference. Here, you explore, collaborate on projects, and learn how to design and think critically, while developing both practical skills and life skills.
Here, you learn to fly!
A different way of learning
At Supreme College Nederland, you learn not only about specific subjects but—more importantly—across disciplines. For instance, knowledge from history, social studies, and geography comes together when seeking solutions to current issues such as immigration and sustainability.
The guiding principle is always to contribute to a better, sustainable world and to become a global citizen. This type of education is found at international schools and is known as the ‘MYP’—short for Middle Years Programme.
After completing four years of the MYP and earning a (strong) diploma, you complete the final two years of the Dutch VWO curriculum at Supreme College. This provides an excellent foundation for university studies.
Learning from and
with each other
There are no traditional lessons in a traditional classroom at Supreme College Nederland. There is no fixed timetable (in hours), but supervised by a teacher you work in morning and afternoon sessions from 08.45 till 16.00.
research information, collaborate on projects, learn to design, tackle complex problems from different perspectives, learn both academic and life skills, encounter different cultures and environments, learn to reflect on your role as a global citizen.
In this way you do not only gain a great deal of knowledge but you also learn the skills to support this knowledge: the desired student characteristics for universities and employers around the world. In short, at Supreme College Nederland you will be working towards a successful, international career!
